Morocco

since 2003
Morocco, with an area of 446,550 km² (excluding Western Sahara) and a population of nearly 38 million, is located at the crossroads of Europe and Africa. Thanks to its institutional stability and economic development, the Kingdom has made significant progress in the areas of education, health, and infrastructure, while facing persistent challenges related to social inequalities, particularly in rural areas. MAP has been active in Morocco since 2003 and has carried out several development projects there, including the construction and support of a daycare center in the city of Taroudant between 2003 and 2009. Today, the organization continues its commitment, alongside local partners, to supporting the most vulnerable populations, particularly women and children. In keeping with its mission, MAP supports initiatives in the fields of education, training, health, and social development, with the goal of sustainably improving the living conditions of beneficiaries through concrete and long-term actions.
Mission

Since 2003, MAP has been working in Morocco in partnership with local organizations dedicated to helping the most vulnerable populations. On April 15 and 16, 2025, Mr. Nicolas Ryter traveled to Rabat to meet with the staff of the University Hospital’s neonatal unit and their partners. This mission made it possible to assess needs on the ground and launch a project aimed at improving care for premature newborns through the acquisition of a specialized ambulance.
