From March 5 to 17, 2024, Mrs. Donatella Campioni, President,
From 21 to 27 November 2022, five MAP members, including the Chair and Vice-Chair, travelled to Yaoundé to monitor the projects supported. The mission began with a visit to Christ the King’s College in Obout, where MAP had funded the rehabilitation of dormitories and the purchase of furniture. Back in Yaoundé, it was mainly with the Centre Edimar – Princess Grace team that the visits took place. As part of the scholarship programme funded with the support of the Prince’s Government, the group met several young people being monitored. This was followed by a visit to St Martin’s Hospital in Porres and the artificial milk project for 50 mothers and babies affected by HIV/AIDS. On Saturday 26 November, Centre Edimar celebrated its 20th anniversary on the occasion of the International Day of Street Children. A magnificent celebration in the presence of the founder of the Centre, Father Maurizzio, the entire team, donors and friends, representatives of the authorities and embassies, and over 300 beneficiaries.
MAP ensures that all projects are designed to meet the direct needs of the beneficiaries, in accordance with local socio-cultural contexts, and aims to promote long-term self-sufficiency.
