We had the pleasure of welcoming Sister Salomon at the beginning of May, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Prix de la Femme de Monaco. At the age of 87, it was a moment of sharing and stories, which we were lucky enough to share with her. For over 30 years, she has been involved with the Nomadic populations of northern Mali. In 1988, she moved to Gossi and founded her desert hospital, which provides primary care and regular medical follow-up to a whole population, including mothers and children. A woman of great character, she was able to integrate perfectly and make a place for herself among the Nomads thanks to her determination and her big heart.
