The Saint Martin de Porres Dominican Hospital (CHDSMP) has been active since 2008. Located in Mvog Betsi, a suburb of Yaoundé, most of the patients are in extreme poverty.

Guaranteeing food for 1,200 students in Madagascar

Since 2002, MAP has been working closely with Father Noé and his current successor, Sister Louise, in the Nosy-Bé and Tananarive regions by building schools, providing school materials and funding the preparation of rolls and a daily hot meal to feed 1,200 students each day.

Supporting the education of 140 Ethiopian girls

MAP has been supporting the Ethiopian girls’ support programmes run by the Trampled Rose Association since 2014. In rural areas of the country, girls lack access to education and are prone to early marriage.

Support for Mendida Center

Since 2007, MAP has been running the dispensary in Mendida, a village located 94 km from the capital, in the Oromiya region. Every day, the dispensary welcomes the most vulnerable families in the village and offers medical care to around 100 malnourished women, children and babies.

Providing education for 170 pupils

Following the meeting with Sister Andréa Batcho in 2021, MAP decided to support the operation of the Primary School in the village of Kouandé, located not far from Natitinqou in the north of the country, with a population of over 110,000.

SUPPORT THE WOMEN’S PROMOTION CENTRE

Also run by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart, the Centre de Promotion Féminine aims to offer young girls in precarious situations and forced marriages access to schooling and a professional activity.
