In rural areas of Nepal, access to specialized care remains limited, which often delays the diagnosis of heart disease in children. In partnership with Save the Heart Nepal and Mission Bambini, MAP supported the first pediatric heart screening camp in Nuwakot District. This initiative not only provides free screenings for children but also raises awareness among families and strengthens the skills of local healthcare staff to sustainably improve care for young patients.
Objectifs
  • To detect heart disease in children at an early stage.

Bénéficiaires
Approximately 1,500 children and their families. Healthcare professionals in the Nuwakot district.
