Congratulations to the 7 Master 2 graduates of the Monaco Consulate’s scholarship programme in Madagascar!

Initiated in 2014, and supported by MAP since its launch, the programme enables motivated and gifted students whose parents do not have the means to finance their studies (single-parent families, unemployed, too many children to care for…) to continue their studies at the country’s top establishments by covering the registration and tuition fees. This programme has 2 components: a “Secondary School Component” which involves providing schooling for students from the second to the final year in the capital’s 3 best schools, and a “Higher Education Component” which enables this support to continue in higher education.

To date, 136 young people from families in difficult socio-economic situations and from disadvantaged backgrounds have benefited from this initiative. This year marks the 1st year of Master 2 graduates.
