Local Actions
Distress is not just on the other side of the world. This is why MAP is also committed to providing assistance and presence in the communes bordering Monaco and in various sectors of the P.A.C.A. region. Each year, these actions support local structures such as the MIR Association for young people and families in social reintegration or the food aid distributed by the Association des Sapeurs-Pompiers 06 Menton et Grasse for a hundred families in difficulty in the region. On the last weekend of November, on the occasion of the national Food Bank collection, MAP volunteers mobilise on the premises of Carrefour Monaco to collect an average of nearly 6 tonnes of products for the most vulnerable. During the Grand Prix weekend, the stand run by MAP volunteers raises funds for these local actions. The MAP depot located in Beausoleil, at 23 Boulevard de la République, collects clothes, toys and other basic necessities, which are then redistributed to the beneficiaries of our various projects throughout the world via containers or missions on the ground, or locally.

MIR Association
The MIR association aims to offer an unconditional welcome to marginalized and precarious people through reception and accommodation, food aid and local social services. Each year, hundreds of vulnerable youth, families and individuals receive assistance or follow-up. In 2022, MAP financed the construction of a mezzanine in the Ariane grocery store, which was inaugurated on January 18, 2023, and participates in the financing of the activities carried out. 30.000€/ year
FIREFIGHTERS 06 - GRASSE MENTON
The Associations of Firefighters 06 Grasse and Menton are intended to help families and individuals most vulnerable in the hinterland, through regular food aid. In emergencies, firefighters mobilize through missions, such as in Sri Lanka after the tsunami of 2005, or during the Alex storm at the end of 2020. Participation in the activities carried out, in the social grocery store and in the 3 missions in Ukraine. 20.000€/ year
Christmas gifts at the Archet
Before the pandemic, one day a month, MAP volunteers dressed as clowns brought joy to hospitalized children through activities, games and birthday parties. Each year, MAP organizes a gift distribution in the pediatric department of the Archet Hospital in Nice for 250 hospitalized children during the holidays and offers tickets to the Circus Festival to 24 sick children, thanks to the German Club of Monaco. 2.000€/ year
FOOD BANK
On the last weekend of November, on the occasion of the National Food Bank Collection, MAP volunteers organize a two-day collection in Carrefour Monaco. On average, nearly 6 tons of essential foodstuffs are collected in Monaco, for a total of nearly 150 tons in France. These recovered foodstuffs allow us to provide more than 270,000 meals to vulnerable families and individuals throughout France.
PARTICIPATE TO MCH
The Monaco Collectif Humanitaire is a chain of solidarity whose aim is to operate in Monaco on children from developing countries whose heart conditions cannot be treated in their country of origin. Since 2019, MCH has expanded its work in 4 countries to operate on children at home in Mali, Madagascar, Senegal and Burkina Faso. More than 460 children have already been cared for since the start. 10.000€/ year
MONACO F1 GRAND PRIX
Every year since 1986, during the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, the Association has organized a stand to raise funds for our local actions and projects in Moldova. Our faithful volunteers are responsible for selling drinks and sandwiches for 3 to 4 days, with the support of the Associations of Firefighters 06 of Grasse and Menton. Our stand, located on the Avenue de la Porte Neuve, overlooks the circuit.
