From November 7 to 15, 2024, Ms. Emanuela Bartoli, Administrator,
From November 7 to 11, 2021, Ms. Pilar Klemm and Mr. Nicolas Ryter went to Beirut in the framework of a mission to follow up on the projects supported. They visited the Ain Ebel hospital in the south of the country, run by the Lebanese Army, the only hospital in the region that will provide access to health care for more than 15,000 people. Several meetings with the management of the École des Frères Saint Joseph resulted in a strategy to ensure continuity and quality of education. The mission also provided an opportunity to meet with representatives of several organisations, including the Lebanese Red Cross, the General-in-Chief of the Lebanese Army, the Rafik Harriri Hospital, the ICRC and representatives of the Maronite Church. Over 300 food parcels were distributed to families.
MAP ensures that all projects are designed to meet the direct needs of the beneficiaries, in accordance with local socio-cultural contexts, and aims to promote long-term self-sufficiency.
