15 YEARS OF MONACO COLLECTIF HUMANITAIRE

In 2008, to mark the 50th birthday of HSH Prince Albert II, several Monegasque associations joined forces under the name “Monaco Collectif Humanitaire”. The aim of this collective is to operate in Monaco on children from developing countries whose cardiac and sometimes orthopedic pathologies cannot be treated in their home countries. Since 2019 and in partnership with the Chain of Hope, the MCH has developed its action in 4 countries to operate on children at home when possible. Operations are also financed in Mali, Madagascar, Senegal and Burkina Faso.

Since the launch of Monaco Collectif Humanitaire in 2008, 515 children with serious heart conditions have undergone surgery, 435 of them in Monaco and the rest in their home countries of Mali, Madagascar, Senegal and Burkina Faso. To mark the MCH’s 15th anniversary, MAP has doubled its annual contribution by presenting a cheque for €20,000 in the presence of the Collectif’s ambassador, Olivier Giroud, on July 13, 2023. A beautiful chain of solidarity!
